About me
My path into programming began with a short course in C++, which was challenging but fun! Later on one day during a work break at the hospital warehouse I saw an ad for the Game Programming education at The Game Assembly and finally worked up the courage to apply.
Who am I? I'd say I'm a curious and persistent problem-solver who always looks for the "why" behind things. I enjoy digging into design decisions, discussing pros and cons, and refining my systems to make them better. I'm determined when facing challenges and always strive to evolve my work. I like to plan thoroughly and think ahead, whether I'm building a system or collaborating with others. I value learning, clarity, and teamwork—and I'm always excited to grow.
Through my education and projects at TGA, I've developed skills in C++ and gained experience with game engines like Custom Engines, Unity and some Unreal Engine . I enjoy system design and building modular, reusable code components.
I’ve also learned how to work with fmod for sound implementation in Games.
Games have been part of my life for as long as I can remember - from 102 Dalmatians: Puppies to the Rescue and Battlefield 2142 to spending weekends in Overwatch 2 or Marvel Rivals, and while commuting playing Stardew Valley, Skyrim or Potion Craft.
Also through the gaming community I've found long lasting friends from around the world.
Outside of code, I love crafting in every form—whether it's perler beads, papermaking, jewelry, pottery, or anything else hands-on. During my studies at TGA, that love for crafting found its way into my programming work. I've enjoyed building functionalities that others can use, aiming for modularity wherever possible.
